My Youth Recipe
If I can find a banana around
and sweet potatoes underground
I would be a happy lass
never to let an opportunity pass.
But beef steak once a month is a pleasure
while seafood hotpot might be better.
Moringa leaves revitalize my energy
yet I can’t resist raw tuna with wasabi.
For supple skin, I think of Vitamin E
though virgin coconut oil is best for me.
Organic food might be too expensive.
I won’t eat most food raw, moving and offensive.
Pets calm my volcanic nature
while sunbaths enhance my character.
I would like to believe smiles are contagious.
Bright optimism is courageous.
A happy niece who will never keep still
Paints pictures of my childhood energetic will.
I am blessed to know
and rightfully so…
to have a brother caring for the sick
As well as a sister who is quite strict!
My mother mixes up her children’s names
while Father guides us with our aims.
I recommend Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for high tea
Do not forget a swim in the sea!
Oh, to feel the sky and mountain
Long walks to anywhere or about a fountain…
Wish I had time for Frisbee with the children
but my own photography has been forsaken.
A trip to the sauna does everyone good
though Scrabble with myself is brain food.
Try writing haikus in style and ease
or riding my old-fashioned bicyle as you please.
When laughter is in abundance
Sand between my toes soothes my confidence.
When the rain comes and goes
the city deserves rainbows.
I like to listen to someone play the piano
amidst night lights of civilization also.
Give me a two-hour massage to lighten my nerves
but find me a real man to compliment my curves!
Let us admire beauty around us
I love receiving letters though it is a fuss!
