   Something I wrote to Wu Chun or whoever handles his email but which, he probably is too busy to read:

   I have a friend who is loved by all who know this beautiful person. I thought about what to give for her birthday; something she thought she couldn’t possibly get to have in this lifetime, something she thought I couldn’t possibly think to get for her. She thinks the world of you believing in your thoughtfulness and kindness in spite of your popularity…and so I thought what would be better than to give you to her – a chance to meet her idol. I hope you find your way to Manila because I would like to ask a little of your time to make someone the happiest girl in the world. I will pay for your lunch date with her (though I know she eats for 3 people, it’ll still be worth it haha) She is saving money just to travel to Brunei. She’d ask me questions about your country. I’m Filipina-Singaporean. She envies me because I speak your language – Malay. We are glad you can speak English fluently although some of the Chinese sites featuring you are rather a frustration.

   Now, we know that Wu Chun will be coming to Manila on July 12th and I have to figure out how I will have Wu Chun meet Con. It will be the biggest surprise of her life and make her so happy. At least, I don’t have to worry about Rain for now but if he does come to Manila, then it will be Ohnie’s turn to faint from happiness. We’ve all been arguing for the longest time who the most good-looking one is. Ohnie likes men with some muscles; men who aren’t effeminate-looking. Con’s taste leans towards Lee Dong Wook and Ju Ji Hoon – tall, thin, clean-looking, almost fragile etc. Give me someone close to Marlboro Man! …someone who loves the outdoors, riding horses, camping under the stars, etc. though I still like Bae Yong Joon and Hayden Christensen!

   Wu Chun arrived today with Calvin Chen. I’m only glad that Con was able to see Wu Chun personally. I’m rather disappointed with Calvin’s English considering that he came from Canada. One would think that he would have mastered his grammar by now but then again, I don’t know exactly how long he’s been in North America. The media have a tendency to exaggerate or manipulate celebrities’ personal backgrounds.

   Personally, I think Jiro Wang and Aaron Yan are better-looking but their inability to speak English has somewhat limited their chances of reaching out to a much larger base of fans. No matter, there’s always body language but obviously, it’s Wu Chun’s movements that are inviting a lot of attention and his fair share of popularity for now. Wu Chun, wherever you are, my friend Con certainly adores you. Tomorrow, we’re having buffet breakfast at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the hopes that we may catch a glimpse of you. Obviously, Con hasn’t had enough of seeing you and while you’re in the Philippines, we will do our best to see you.

   I found a DVD copy of KO One with my supplier and of course, realizing that it starred Fahrenheit, I had to buy it. …and sad to say, it was the worst and most hilarious set of acting skills. Calvin Chen, with hair cut short, never looked so gay. Jiro’s usual idiotic charm didn’t appeal as much to me then. Aaron was “lifeless” in his role. I have yet to see Wu Chun but I haven’t even reached Episode 3 and I don’t even want to watch anymore of it.
